How billing works

Jeweliful charges for two things: the pieces you order, and the tokens that pay for Studio photographs. With a connected Shopify store, both are billed through Shopify. There is no subscription, and nothing is ever taken from your store's sales.

The pieces you order

Each order is billed at our price: the base price of the pieces in it, less any discount you qualify for, plus shipping and any branded packaging you choose. No fee is added on top.

With a connected Shopify store
Every order is paid through Shopify and appears on your Shopify bill. Pay an order with a one-time charge for its exact total, which you approve on Shopify's own screen, or pay it from your order credits.
Without a Shopify store
You pay by card through Stripe, one order at a time, or switch on Auto-charge for a store and its orders are charged to your saved card. Auto-charge is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time.

Order credits are a prepaid balance you buy through Shopify: packs from $5 to $500, or any amount from $5 to $10,000. They never expire and are shared by all of your stores. With Auto-charge on, your store's orders are paid from them automatically, and an order waits for a top-up if the balance is short.

We start making a piece only once its order is paid. Auto-charge never turns a sale into an order while your buyer has not paid you yet.

Studio tokens

Photographs made in the Studio are paid for with tokens, which you buy in packs. Each pack is a one-time purchase, and your balance is shared by all of your stores.

With a connected Shopify store
You buy tokens through Shopify. Each purchase is a one-time charge that you approve on Shopify's own screen, and it appears on your Shopify bill.
Without a Shopify store
You buy tokens by card, through a Stripe checkout.

What you are never charged

  • No subscription and no monthly fee.
  • No fee or commission on your store's orders or sales.
  • Installing the Jeweliful app on Shopify is free.

Refunds and questions

For a refund, or any question about a charge, write to service@jeweliful.com. An order paid by card is refunded to that card. An order paid with a Shopify charge is refunded through Shopify, on your Shopify bill. An order paid from order credits that is cancelled goes back to your credits. Token purchases made through Shopify are refunded through Shopify too.
